Q:   What makes Lincoln Industries different?

A:    Lincoln Industries is the only vertically integrated supplier of chrome exhaust stacks.  This means we control the supply chain.  Once the raw tube arrives at our location, it stays with Lincoln Industries until the product is finished.  This includes bending, polishing, chrome plating, packaging, warehousing and shipping.  We even have in-house capabilities to internally ceramic coat the chrome exhaust tube.  Something no other supplier can claim.  Managing all of these capabilities means we control the lead time.  We don’t rely on the scheduling of other suppliers.  Our turnaround time—from start to the finish—is the best in the industry.

Q:   Why did you choose to vertically integrate?

A:    At the core of our business is metal finishing.  We have supplied complete parts to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for many years.  Our success comes from being the lead supplier of highly cosmetic parts.  This allows us to ensure quality of the raw material, perfect the polishing process and provide an exceptional part to our customers. 

        Several years ago, we made a capital investment in tube bending.  Shipping large diameter tubes to other suppliers was not cost effective due to quality concerns and the cost of shipping.  We already had the polishing and plating experience.  We added tube bending and ceramic coating to provide a complete product to our customers.   

Q:   Why haven’t I heard of Lincoln Industries before?

A:    Lincoln Industries was founded in 1952 by Dale LeBaron.  The company has grown from a small, custom plating shop to a company with over 500 people and $100 million in revenue.  We tackle jobs that involve corrosion, wear, high temperatures, friction and cosmetics.  We supply hundreds of thousands of part numbers to hundreds of customers.  In the past, we have always sold directly to OEMs.  We are now supplying direct to large heavy truck distributors with our Lincoln Industries-branded product line.  Continue to look for more products in the future.
